The Ranch

SkyHorse Ranch is a 190-acre coastal California wonderland located in the beautiful rolling hills of Valley Ford, bordering Marin and Sonoma Counties, and overlooking the Estero De Americano. Enjoy the panoramic views, pastoral spirit, and abundant wildlife within a stone’s throw of fine dining, wine tasting, bicycling, fishing, golfing, kayaking, bird watching, nature hikes, beach walks and much more.

Not only is our ranch graced with abundant wildlife and awe inspiring views, it is also renowned for its historic part in Christo’s Running Fence. Christo’s Running Fence, designed and built between 1972- 1976 was an incredible work of art, a white fence 24 miles long and 18 feet high, that ran from Petaluma right through SkyHorse Ranch, disappearing into the ocean.

We are one only 1.5 hours North of San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area; 10 minutes from the Bodega Coast, 45 minutes from the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, Napa and Sonoma Valleys and Healdsburg, and 20 minutes to the Russian River.
